The City of Stonebridge provides residential and commercial solid waste & recycling collections.

Garbage pickup is weekly & Recycling is bi-weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Large‑volume items are accepted once a month on the 1st and 15th at the Stonebridge Recycling Center on Lime Street.

For example: furniture, appliances, electronics, hazardous waste, etc.

The Recycling Center is closed on weekends & major holidays.

Items will be accepted the business day after if the 1st or 15th falls on a holiday or weekend.

For questions, schedules, or to report a missed pickup, call 724-889‑0008 or email the Director of Sanitation at sanitation@stonebridge.com.

The city charges a $2.50 per-month recycling fee (waived for low-income households) and provides free tote bags and compost kits to all residents. This fee helps us maintain our recycling program, which is essential for reducing waste and protecting our environment.

By participating in our recycling program, you help reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills, conserve natural resources, and save energy. Plus, it's easy to get started! Just use the free tote bags and compost kits provided to all residents.
